Saper Galleries is proud to share with the western world the exquisite oil paintings of Russian artist Victor Bykov. The artist lives and paints in his studio in the so-called Golden Ring of Russia more than 100 miles outside of Moscow; an area of exceptional beauty. Victor Bykov

Victor Bykov was born in 1958 in the Russian city of Cheliabinsk. In 1980 he graduated from the Cheliabinsk Art College, and from 1988 to 1993 studied at the Stroganov Art & Design Institute in Moscow.

Main exhibitions:
1993 - "Young artists"- Palace of Arts (Minsk, Belarus).
1994 - "New beginnings" – House of Artists (Moscow, Russia).
1995 - "Search & Experiment"-Palace of Arts (Cheliabinsk, Russia).
1996 - Exhibition of alumnae of the Stroganov School - Stroganov Art Hall (Moscow).
1997 - "Russian landscape" – Stavropol art gallery (Stavropol, Russia).
1998 - "Art Manezh 1998" – Manezh Art Hall (Moscow).
2000 - "Fatherland" - gallery "Trio" (Cheliabinsk).
2001 - "Open space" - Palace of Arts (St Petersburg, Russia)
2002 - "Forces of nature" - gallery "Bratstvo" (Cheliabinsk).
2003 - Moscow International art salon
2004 - Solo exhibition in the Central House of Artists (CHA), Moscow
2005 - Group exhibition “Tvorchestvo”, gallery “Maxim” (Moscow)
2006 – Solo exhibition “Landscapes and more” in Hotel Radisson ’Slavyanska (Moscow)
2006 - "Art Manezh 1998" – Manezh Art Hall (Moscow).
2007- Solo exhibition at the Stavropol City Hall (Moscow)

His works are in the collections of the Cheliabinsk Museum of Art & Ethnography, in Stavropol City Gallery, and in private collections in Russia, Germany and France, and Michigan.
